Valkor’s Gold Making Guide was one of the very first wow gold guides that I purchased when I first started playing the game, which is why I'm still happy to promote this guide as an affiliate. Before buying Valkor’s guide, my attempts at making easy wow gold were rather poor and haphazard. I’d bounce from wow gold blog to wow gold blog researching this gold tip and that gold tip, without making much money in the land of Azeroth.

Now call me old fashion, but I expect value for my hard earned money, and Valkor’s guide gives you just that. It’s one of the nicer laid out guides, complete with a table of contents and sections that are well thought out and that take you step-by-step through the various gold making strategies. Important gold making items are nicely highlighted and referenced throughout the guide. In my opinion Valkor's Gold Making Guide is the best gold guide for the money - especially if you are just starting out in the game.

Valkor's Auction House Secrets

Now Valkor’s Gold Making Guide covers the basics when it comes to explaining the Auction House, but are a little lean on auction House strategies; however, if you are new to farming gold then Valkor’s guide will be more than enough to start you down the road to your first mount and epic mount. Strangely, Valkor splits his section on the Auction House into two. The second goes into more detail of some of the auction house secrets you can apply to make gold. I can't reveal them here, but they made an old Mage very happy and bought me my epic flying mount.

Alliance or Horde?

Very few guides are faction specific when it comes to making gold. In theory, all the gold making techniques in Valkors Gold Guide should work equally well for both Horde and Alliance factions alike. Valkor’s Guide does tend to be biased towards Alliance characters, but unless you’re playing on a PVP server this shouldn’t be a problem.

Probably the best part of Valkor's Gold Making Guide is the detail he goes into on the trading of pets and where to find them. I had never tried trading pets or understoond how this was done until I read Valkor's Gold Guide. You'll be amazed at how this works and how much wow gold you can make from this technique.

Now many wow gold blogs that you read harp on about this gold grinding spot and that gold grinding spot, but in truth, there’s more to farming gold in the World of Warcraft than just grinding. The nice thing about Valkor’s Gold Making Guide is the shear number of well thought out gold making strategies and tips that work time and time again. Valkor has a very good section on low level gold making strategies. I found this very helpful when I started playing the game. Many gold guides simply list locations where they advise you to grind elites for hours at a time. Not much good if you’re a low level Gnome fresh out of Mage school! Gold Making Instance Runs

Valkor’s Gold Making Guide does list some Instance runs and he has very good maps and diagrams of the favorites; but again they are all Alliance based and a few Horde runs would have been nice. Still, providing your are not playing on a PVP server this should not pose a problem.

Making Gold In The Burning Crusade

Finally, all good gold guides these days should cover the Burning Crusade. Once you reach level 60 and beyond, its time to start saving for your first flying mount - roughly 1000g - and then for your Epic Flying Mount - 5000g! True to form Valkor’s guide covers all the basics of making gold in the Burning Crusade and even includes some of the new daily quests.
